UNICEF
THE UNICEF PROJECT

DOT is currently working on a project with UNICEF.
A perfect example of the kind of projects DOT was designed to initiate and see through is a presentation programme for UNICEF.

DOT made available 5% of the members' professional time for UNICEF, equal to a value of one to two million DKK, and the organization responded with a specific challenge: Make UNICEF more easily explained for all its visitors in its global warehouse in Frihavnen, Copenhagen - from state dignitaries to school classes.

DOT has designed three different solutions, each an example of the multi-disciplinary strength of the association:

Re-decoration of UNICEF's international showroom in Frihavnen.
The showroom is situated in the warehouse proper and plays an important part in the organization's promotion and education efforts. DOT has designed a solution that involves the entire warehouse in a pedagogical, well-considered and enganging manner.

Temp-Game about children's rights.
All school classes have a temp teacher every now and then. DOT has designed a game to inform Danish children about children's rights at home and abroad as defined in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. Requiring a bare minimum of preparation, the game is ideal for use by temp teachers at a moment's notice.

Presentation kit.
The presentation kit is a way for UNICEF's visitors to take their visit back home. The kit contains factual information about the kits UNICEF offer as well as background information about the organization in general.

From process design to graphics, each solution represents a wide range of design disciplines. The solutions are to be presented at UNICEF's warehouse later this year.
